Status .....It may seem quite surprising that this delightful butterfly has never (even historically) been recorded from Nottinghamshire, and despite what appears to be suitable habitat available at a number of sites. There also appears to be no references, or accounts, relating to any attempted releases in the county, which may be even more surprising to many. The following photographs were of butterflies reared in captivity from captive-bred stock, purely to illustrate the species here. | ||
