Lema cyanella (Linnaeus, 1758)
This is somewhat scarce in VC56 Nottinghamshire, with just three traceable records. This beetle occurs in the southern-half of the UK, although it is often rather patchily distributed. In Nottinghamshire, there are records from Stapleford in 2013 (Lane, S.) from Kirkby-in-Ashfield in 2019 (Wilson, R.I.) and from a private woodland site in the Bevercotes area, in 2024 (Brownley, N. and Brownley, S.).
