Status
.....Common in the south of the UK, but a very rare
moth in Nottinghamshire, where it currently has Grade 2 status. Birch
Mocha was previously recorded back in August 2005 at Misson Carr, before
the one in the lower two photographs was
trapped by Martin Warne of the Lound Moth Group in July
2014. There have been further records from Misson Carr, in August 2023
and May 2024. |
