Carpatolechia notatella (Hübner, 1813)
Status .....There are few records of this moth in Nottinghamshire and it may be that this moth is perhaps genuinely scarce. However, like most micro moths (especially dull species such as Carpatolechia notatella) it's very likely that this could be down to a lack of recording, especially as there are a range of very similar, dull, grey coloured species. Consequently, identification of such species is often not an easy task.
