Labulla thoracica (Wider, 1834)
Initially thought to be a common spider, but the lack of subsequent records from either ourselves or other recorders, would suggest otherwise. This is a  fairly distinctive species, but there are a number of similar looking spiders to make identifiaction difficult. This adult was found under some old roof tiles, at Mapperley Nottingham in early February 2010.
