Macrargus rufus (Wider, 1834)
A small spider with a length of little more than 3.5mm. This is one of many spiders of the Linyphiidae group, which are commonly referred to as Money Spiders. This female was found at Budby South Forest in mid-March 2010 and is one of several records for the Sherwood Forest NNR area.
