Cryptophagus lycoperdi (Scopoli, 1763)
Cryptophagus lycoperdi is a small species, measuring little more than 2.5mm in length. It is often found by searching rotting fungi. The one photographed was attracted to MV light at Sherwood Forest CP in early September 2009. There are several Sherwood NNR records.
