Rhabdomiris striatellus (Fabricius, 1794)
Another common Plantbug often found on Oak in woodland is Rhabdomiris striatellus. There are many species of Miridae across the UK and some will be familiar to most people with an interest in natural history. This adult was photographed in Sherwood Forest in May 2010, when it was easily beaten off Oaks.
