Endothenia nigricostana (Haworth, 1811)
Status .....A relatively scarce moth in Nottinghamshire and mostly recorded during the day when found flying among low growing vegetation, or sat openly on the favoured foodplant. This is not a species we have many records for, but have recorded it at Clipstone Old Quarter in May 2007, Eakring Flash in June 2008 and Treswell Wood in June 2021.
