Gasteruption jaculator (Linnaeus, 1758)
There are several species of Gasteruption in the UK and all are difficult to identify, but Gasteruption jaculator and Gasteruption assectator tend to dominate the publicised records and both occur in Nottinghamshire. There is a record from Netherfield Ash Lagoons (Netherfield Wildlife Group) and we have recent records from Market Warsop and Mapperley in 2016.
