Pauper Pug Eupithecia egenaria (Herrich-Schäffer, 1848)
Status .....Occurs in the vicinity of Lime trees, especially Small-leaved Lime Tilia cordata. Pauper Pug (sometimes called Fletcher's Pug) was discovered new to Notts in 2005, when recorded at Centre Parcs near Edwinstowe (Finch, G. and Finch, A.). Further records have come from Cotgrave Forest Clumber Park, Wellow Park Wood, Bevercotes Park Wood, with all these sites holding Lime Trees.

The one below, was trapped at MV light by Dave Morton and Andy Ashley, who kindly supplied the specimen for illustration here.
