Piniphila bifasciana (Haworth, 1811)
Although already on the Nottinghamshire list, there appears to be no other recent, traceable county records other than the one illustrated here, which was taken at MV light from Theives Wood near Mansfield, by Dave Morton and Andy Ashley in July 2023. A more recent record from Market Warsop has since occurred in June 2024 (Chick, S.).

In view of this moth occurring around Pines, it's perhaps surprising that it doesn't seem to be more widespread in the more forested areas of the county. Thanks go to Dave Morton and Andy Ashley, for providing the Theives Wood moth for inclusion here.
